Her name is - 'Ibtesaam Ahmed'
In order to Pay a tribute to Sir Muhammad Ali. In his Remembrance.
Here's it, Titled -
The Champ - Muhammad Ali. (Poem)
He was a great personality people had ever known.
Since childhood he was well built and grown.
The will must be stronger than the skill said he,
And Allah made his destiny.
He wished if people loved each other the way they loved him,
The world would then be a better film.
And when he was inside the ring,
He boxed with the power of a bee's sting.
The crowds arose with love and cheers,
For the winning man who had no fears.
With his name and status he will always be known,
The seeds of success and strong faith he had grown .
And he went away leaving with people his greatest memory,
Yes he is none other than Muhammad Ali!.

Alhamdulillah, This poem was a Short But Fabulous piece.
Thank you Miss Ibtesaam Ahmed.

5 Great Lessons Everyone Must Learn From Muhammad Ali.
Ali meant something special to everyone, but to Muslims he was an incredibly inspirational figure. You have to understand that for a once great civilization, Muslims have precious few public figures that represent the best of what we used to be and not where we are right now.
All across the Muslim world, Ali stood out as an example of someone who was comfortable in his own skin and the world was comfortable with him too. Truly and example that will be missed.
God elevated his Rank because of his devotion to God, determination in whatever he Did and his righteousness.
Let's Take some Serious and Great lessons from His Amazing Life -
Somewhere between the eulogies, the obituaries, the tweets, the memes and the acres of press coverage on the passing of Muhammad Ali… lies a set of transformative lessons.
Lessons that took a young African American named - Cassius Clay, from Louisville, Kentucky to becoming Muhammad Ali – heavyweight champion and one of the most recognisable and loved figures on the Earth.
Lessons that this Ummah, who is in turmoil, is desperately in need of.
Lesson No. 1 >>
Having a vision.
Muhammad Ali knew exactly what he wanted to achieve from an early age. His school friends recall him sparring with them as a scrawny kid and telling them he was going to be Heavyweight Champion of the world.
Even though it looked like an impossible dream then, he had already taken the first step toward his goal just by having one in the first place.
Brothers and sisters what's your Goal in life?
Without a vision, there can be no hope of achieving our dreams. Instead we wander the wilderness, forever reacting instead of acting. The Muslim world is desperately in need of a positive vision to aim for, to marshal our abilities towards and to inspire us.

Lesson No. 2 >>
Hard Work & Determination.
Everyone knows that it takes hard work to become world champion. But to become world champion 3 times over and after a prolonged enforced break at the height of your physical abilities? That's when you know that Muhammad Ali had an exceptional work ethic.
He put the hours in, he used to train wearing extra layers of clothes and weights tied to his legs. He went to the limits of his physical abilities… and then kept going.
The Muslim world used to be the nation that revelled in working hard. We would put the hours in to make new discoveries, discover the Undiscovered, Reveal the Concealed, build the most magnificent structures and uplift the human race.
Today, we are amongst the least productive people on Earth.
Yes it's very Bitter Truth.
Why don't you eat some sugar, huh?
We need to regain our love of sweating for our supper.
Glory won't be ours until we Evolve ourselves into True Muslims.
Glory will only come when
WE attach ourselves to the Glorious Qur'an, Bind ourselves with the Tradition and Lifestyle Of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Understand Islam and Strive to be a Better Person, a better Muslim Everyday.
And people like Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali set an Amazing example of it. They were not just Muslims by name, they lived Islaam and they showed people how to live Islaam.

Lesson No. 3 >>
Inspire yourself and others.
There have been many exceptional individuals in the past century, but few have been so keen to share the secrets of what made them great with the rest of us. Muhammad Ali was transparent and open to constantly sharing words of inspiration and motivation to anyone and everyone.
He inspired people who didn't like boxing, who didn't speak his language and who didn't share his faith. This isn't just amazing – it is almost Miraculous.
Then again, the Prophet (SAW) did say, “In eloquence there is magic…”
The Muslim world suffers from a crisis of communication. We are unable to articulate ourselves and our faith to each other and to the rest of the world in terms that even begin to show the beauty of Islam and the wisdom behind it. We need to regain that eloquence, the magic and the words to inspire once more.

Lesson No. 4 >>
Admit your mistakes
Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X. The Best Friends. |
There are few figures more iconic, more quotable and more consequential in the past century than Muhammad Ali, but his mentor Malcolm X was one of them. In the early years of their friendship, Malcolm was like an older brother to Muhammad Ali. But then Malcolm broke with the Nation of Islam and Ali ostracised Malcolm as the leadership of the Nation demanded.
One day, they passed by each other outside a hotel in Ghana. Malcolm tried to say salaam to his old friend, but Ali ignored him. Years later, when Ali also joined traditional Islam. But it was late, at that time, His dear friend Malcolm was no more, he had been already assassinated.
Ali regretted this incident deeply.
He said -
“Turning my back on Malcolm was one of the mistakes that I regret most in my life. I wish I'd been able to tell Malcolm I was sorry, that he was right about so many things. But he was killed before I got the chance. He was a visionary ahead of us all."
Muhammad Ali was big enough to admit his mistakes publicly. There are many areas in which we are on the receiving end of injustice and oppression, but the Muslim world (This Muslim Ummah) needs to be open and honest with itself about our own failings and how we have fallen from our better selves.
Rectification of any Errors and Truthfulness in speech is the Key.

Lesson No. 5 >>
Having dignity and self-respect for yourself and your Islam.
When he changed his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali, there were many who refused to use the new foreign sounding Islamic moniker for him. Muhammad refused to given in to their prejudice just to fit in.
There was a boxer who point blank refused to call him Muhammad Ali. When they finally got in the ring, Ali rained blow after blow on him each time bellowing -
“What's my name?”
until his prejudiced opponent gave in.
The respect he had for the name was seen once more when he was given his own star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
He requested that his star not be placed on the floor like those of others, but instead fixed into a wall. When asked why he replied that he could not bear to have the name of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم) on the ground where it could be walked over.
This dignity and self-respect is something missing from many parts of the Muslim world today. He was unashamedly black, unapologetically Muslim, unimpeachably confident and yet unbelievably likeable – and in doing so, showed that we don't need to compromise on our values in order to gain respect… or even love.
Dear Brothers and Sisters!
"Dream . Dua. Reflect. Act. " — Four words with Ocean of meanings. Got my point?

It is doubtful that anyone will replace that status for the foreseeable future.
If the only good that he brought was to bring a positive image of Islam, and to spread then ame of our beloved Prophet in every household and on every tongue in the world, it is a life that is indeed enviable.
But in addition to that, he has had a stellar career as the single greatest athlete, of all times. As well, he was an icon of positive political activism, and of preaching truth to power.
His court case about refusing the draft for Vietnam war was fought all the way to the Supreme Court, which he eventually won.
Here's what happened and why Muhammad Ali Refused -
Ali’s actions in refusing military service made him a lightning rod .
Near the end of 1967, Ali was stripped of his title by the professional boxing commission and would not be allowed to fight professionally for more than three years. He was also convicted for refusing induction into the army and sentenced to five years in prison. Over the course of those years in exile, Ali fought to appeal his conviction. He stayed in the public spotlight and supported himself by giving speeches primarily at rallies on college campuses that opposed the Vietnam War.
He Said to Everyone there that -
" Why should they ask me to put on a uniform and go 10,000 miles from home and drop bombs and bullets on Brown people in Vietnam while so-called Negro people in Louisville are treated like dogs and denied simple human rights? No I’m not going 10,000 miles from home to help murder and burn another poor nations imply to continue the domination of white slave masters of the darker people the world over. This is the day when such evils must come to an end. I have been warned that to take such a stand would cost me millions of dollars. But I have said it once and I will say it again. The real enemy of my people is here. I will not disgrace my religion, my people or myself by becoming a tool to enslave those who are fighting for their own justice, freedom and equality. If I thought the war was going to bring freedom and equality to 22 million of my people they wouldn’t have to draft me, I’d join tomorrow. I have nothing to lose by standing up for my beliefs. So I’ll go to jail, so what? We’ve been in jail for 400 years."
Moreover, He Feared God much. He knew well that God will severely punish The Oppressors, the Unjust, and the Killer of Innocent people. So he Thought Wisely and chose the right thing.
Muhammad Ali was a Lion . And Lions don't do foolish things.
He was Courageous, He was Well built and he was wise and a person of sound knowledge.
And that's why He said -
“I didn’t want to submit to the army and then, on the Day of Judgment, have God say to me, ‘Why did you do that?’ This life is a trial, and you realize that what you do is going to be written down for Judgment Day.” – Muhammad Ali quotes when Muhammad Ali was ordered to join the Army and go fight in Vietnam, he refused. Because he knew the reality of that war and he knew that it goes against Islam and will of Allah. He now had two options, submitting to the will of Army or submitting to the will of Allah. He chose the second options and stood by it. Even though he had to face the trials. He gave away 3 years of his career and lots of money for his decision because he knew that whatever we are doing is being written for the Judgement Day"
This was his explanation of why he refused to fight in Vietnam In 1970,
Ali was allowed to fight again, and in late 1971 the Supreme Court reversed his conviction. And By the Grace of God, He was free from the Cases put on him.

Joining Nation of Islam and then His Conversation to Sunni Islam (Mainstream Islam).
He Joined Nation of Islam and converted to what he thought was Islam at a time when Islam was an unknown religion in America ; then he became Sunni (mainstream Islam) after Malcolm X introduced him to mainstream Islam, and he had been a proud and public Muslim ever since.
And he was one of the most eloquent and poetic star athletes that the world has ever seen. His quotes, like his medals and awards, are legendary!
We must all go eventually, and Muhammad Ali's life was good one.
Yet still, the heart is saddened and the eyes are sad to see a living legend go before our eyes.
We all pray that Allah accepts the good that he did , and overlooks his mistakes. And Grant him High level in Paradise.
Sir Muhammad Ali! I know you will not read these words. Yet still, We write them.
He was Born great, died Greater
we mourn the death of a man who, in difficult times, stood firmly upon the path of justice, a man who was often a lone voice for reason and change, a man who has shaped not only the landscape of Muslim America, but also humanity for years to come. The visceral reaction we have to his loss is a testament to his greatness as not only a fighter, but also as one of the most revolutionary thought leaders of our time. We all have so much to learn from Muhammad Ali: a beacon of excellence, inspiration, strength, and integrity.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Muhammad Ali's illness .
Muhammad Ali suffered from an Illness called Parkinson's Syndrome .
“God gave me Parkinson’s syndrome to show me I’m not ‘The Greatest’ – he is. God gave me this illness to remind me that I’m not Number One; He is”
Said the Champion - Muhammad Ali.
Muhammad Ali used to claim that he is the greatest in front of media a lot. But in reality, he knew who is the greatest. When he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s syndrome, he openly claimed that reality in front of the world again that he is not the greatest. Note that his pride, his fame, and his success did not stop him from speaking what his faith and heart knew as right. He spoke openly that he is not the greatest, but Allah is. He is not number one, but Allah is.

Concluding it we we want to say that-
Ali spent the majority of his life saying he was “the greatest.” He was known to be loud mouthed and cocky, but few minded because he did it with class, a knowing wink and then proved himself right time and time again. Yet when he was once asked about his debilitating Parkinsons, he replied “Perhaps it is Gods way of showing me He is the greatest… not me.”
Muhammad Ali meant something special to everyone, but to Muslims he was an incredibly inspirational figure. You have to understand that for a once great civilization, Muslims have precious few public figures that represent the best of what we used to be and not where we are right now. All across the Muslim world, Ali stood out as an example of someone who was comfortable in his own skin and the world was comfortable with him too.
To the world he was a boxer, a legend, a champion and even “the Greatest of All Time.” To Muslims he was something far more precious. He was one – of – us.
Farewell Dear Muhammad Ali. Verily You Left a Legacy cause You were the Legend.
The Hero, The Champion, The Great.
Peace Be Upon You.
