"A brother must remember in regards to his brothers and sisters, and a sister must remember in regards to his brothers and sisters, that we are one nation. It is human to make mistakes and to err at times, so what we should do is we should forgive everyone who wrong us, and if they come asking you for forgiveness, forgive them. We our selves make so many mistakes too. Be careful lest they cause you the same harm again, be careful, but do forgive them. If they ask for your help, help them, even after they have wronged you. This is one of the greatest attitude a person can have: to forgive those who wrong them, and if they come asking for help, he helps them.
Secondly, when speaking about others, we have to remember what Rasūl Allāh (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said:
❝A slanderer will not enter Paradise.❞
[Bukhārī (6056), Muslim (105), Ahmad (22814), At-Tirmidhī (2026), and Abū Dawūd (48719)]
So if you have slandered any brother or any sister unjustly, go beg for their forgiveness, and remember this, that if they do not forgive you, you are in a very great trouble.
Hence why we must be careful what we speak of others andmust only speak that which is true."
