Rainfall - A Neemat (Bounty) of Allah Almighty.

"And it is He (Allâh)  Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain). Till when they have carried a heavy­laden cloud, We drive it to a land that is dead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise up the dead, so that you may remember or take heed."

Bad Characteristics.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah RaziAllahu Anhu that:
 The Messenger of Allah (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
Allah Almighty says:
" I am the opponent of three on the Day of Resurrection, and if I am someone's opponent I will defeat him: A man who makes promises in My Name, then proves treacherous; a man who sells a free man and consumes his price; and a man who hires a worker, makes use to him, then does not give him his wages."

(Sunan Ibn Majah - Vol. 3, Book 16, Hadith 2442)

'Difference Between Knowledge & Guidance' ~ Nouman Ali Khan

" Let's talk about the difference between having knowledge and having guidance. We can have a lot of knowledge of the Quran but still not have guidance. Guidance is an ongoing, minute by minute, series of actions. We're going to have to make decisions and we need someone's guidance to make those decisions. Allah tells us that He is willing to give us constant advice on all of our decisions.
    I can dress like I have a lot of knowledge, stand on a stage in front of people, and have Facebook followers, but it doesn't mean I have Allah's guidance. Guidance is in the hands of Allah and we have to go back to Him to seek it over and over again. This is the difference between knowledge and guidance.

Be Truthful, Don't Tell Lies!

Abdullah (RaziAllahu Anhu) reported Allah’s Messenger (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) as saying:

 "Truth leads one to Paradise and virtue leads one to Paradise and the person tells the truth until he is recorded as truthful, and lie leads to obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell, and the person tells a lie until he is recorded as a liar."

Is greeting 'Happy Christmas' permissible in Islam?

Is greeting Christians or others with the traditional Christmas greeting “merry Christmas” or “happy Christmas” permissible in Islam?

Answer: It is not permissible for a Muslim to greet Christians with the traditional Christmas greeting because it means celebrating the day of “God’s” birth – a concept absolutely abhorrent to Muslims and in direct contradiction to the Qur’aanic verse,

“He (Allah) did not give birth nor was He born.” (Qur'an 112:3)

The date of birth of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) was unknown and it was chosen to match the Saturnalia, the festival of the harvest dedicated to the Roman god of the harvest, Saturn. Christians did not celebrate the birth of Christ for the first 3 centuries after Jesus’ departure because birthday celebration was a known pagan practice "
